Welcome to Native American History: A Curriculum from Home!

This curriculum is designed for self-paced learning and assessment by a parent or educator.

Below you can see each of the lessons provided by this course, including an orientation, nine chapters of rich content, a mid-course check-in, and a completion point. The curriculum is designed to allow students to complete one chapter (readings, assessment, research, and writing) each month, though students may move faster or slower as needed. Keep in mind that your one-year subscription expires in 12 months.

Please remember that this is not a graded course with a live instructor; rather, this is a curriculum package that provides the content for a complete course that must be assessed by a parent or educator. It is the responsibility of a parent or educator to ensure completion of the work and to grade the monthly essay assignment (additional resources available to ease that task). Upon completion, the parent/educator will certify completion.

This will be your home page. Below (and to the right side) you will find the nine chapters. You may click on the downward arrows to expand any one chapter to reveal all the readings and assignments for that unit, which should take about one month. It is recommended that you start at the beginning, with the orientation page. Each month you should complete readings, quizzes, and a writing assignment to stay on task. Follow along each month and you will do just fine!
